Job 33:14-16 “For God may speak in one way, or in another, Yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, When deep sleep falls upon men, While slumbering on their beds, Then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction.”

As we rest at night, the Lord is at work, sharing with us mysteries of His grace and transforming power. He gives us messages in the night seasons, and it’s good to pay attention! In dreams, we can find a hidden treasure of His love, insight, comfort and hope. Some dreams show us how He sees us and leads us. Recurring dreams can speak to us about the season we are in, or even carry a message that is vital to us. And some dreams are given to warn, and perhaps even to keep us or others alive as we pray and heed them. The study of our dreams can confirm messages we have already heard Him speak to us in a variety of ways, in the light of day!

At Lost Penny Found, we take our dreams seriously. Many on our team have stewarded the wonderful grace gift of dream interpretation for many years.  We believe that all believers can be equipped to interpret and understand their dreams, as they learn to hear the Holy Spirit and study Scripture and symbols as He leads. There is a different kind of dreams that must be identified as well. Nightmares and demonic dreams can be sent by the enemy to stir fear, lies and confusion. Many experience dreams that bully and degrade them. We are to come against evil dreams with the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of God.
